There will be one or more executors named in the Legacy Contract to deal with the asset upon death.
Application for a Grant of Probate from the probate registry.
The grant gives authorisation to the named executor(s) to deal with the deceased person’s assets.
A close relative of the deceased can apply for a Grant of Letters of Administration (LOA).
With the grant, the applicant will become the administrators of the assets.
The grant confirms the administrator’s authority to administer the deceased person’s assets.
